Sophia Casa ‘23 Receives Porter Scholarship from the Society of Professional Journalists

Sophia Casa '23 was honored at the Society of Professional Journalists—Cleveland Chapter annual awards night where she was the recipient of the Porter Scholarship, which recognizes an outstanding high school journalist.

Also recognized was Marla Ridenour (longtime sports writer for the Akron Beacon Journal) and Rick Jackson, who just completed a 45-year career as a broadcaster, the last 20 years at Ideastream as host of "Sound of Ideas." What a huge feat to be honored among these longtime career journalists. #LS4G
