How We Support Laurel
Team Laurel Raises Funds for Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
Congratulations to Laurel's Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Student Visionaries—Team Laurel—who raised $10,276 this year to help support blood cancer research. Student Visionaries of the Year is a philanthropic leadership development program for high school students.
Each year participants embark on a seven-week journey to raise funds to help create a world without blood cancers. Pictured here are Asal Mohammadi '27, Hannah Rosenfeld '27, Maeve Cimperman '26, Yara Ibrahim '25 and Danah Alrashid '26. Not pictured but part of the team are Mackenzie Reid '26, Jazmin Ross '25, Kareen Hurns '27, and Kayla Pierce '24. Team Laurel attended the Student Visionaries of the Year Grand Finale event in March.
